East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice (EYCEJ)

East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice (EYCEJ) is a community-based environmental health and justice organization working in East Los Angeles, Southeast Los Angeles, and Long Beach, neighborhoods that live alongside freeways, rail yards, and warehouses. It works toward a safe, healthy environment for communities most affected by industrial pollution and helps residents advocate for themselves, from its campaigns on the I-710 corridor to its role in closing the Commerce incinerator in 2018.

We donated a homepage redesign concept to EYCEJ as a thank-you for its work making sure the communities most affected by pollution have a voice in the decisions that shape their neighborhoods.
